Welcome to Glo & SPARK - our Sunday Morning groups for nursery and primary aged children.  They run concurrently with the 10am service in Holy Trinity Church and are held every Sunday during term time.

The Glo & SPARK team is led by our Children & Families worker, Jo Birkby, heading up a team of volunteers with a range of ages, having a heart for Children's Ministry.

Each week families arrive from 9.30am to enjoy a drink and some delicious pastries or fruit, catching up with friends before the service start at 10am.  After around half an hour of worshipping together as a family, we then separate into our age-focused groups to find the best way of responding to the particular theme or story.  The children enjoy fun games, delving into the Bible or watching a video clip of the story then recording their own pictures and words as a response in their Journals. We follow the same teaching programme as the adults in church, believing it to be of vital importance that children and their families can ‘keep the conversation going’ when we go home from church, continuing to hear God speak into each of our lives, every day. To help families, each child goes home with a ‘Takeaway’ suggesting questions to ponder or simple activities to do together at home. Our aim is to have fun, in a safe environment, and for the children to grow in their understanding of God’s great love for them, empowering and equipping them to live as followers of Jesus.

If you are new to the area or considering coming to church for the first time with your children, you can speak Jo with any questions you might have via e-mail or on 07721379513.
