The Bible compares human life to a journey. Each journey has a beginning, a middle and an end. Along the journey there are a number of significant events where we as a church can offer specific support and assistance.
Baptism marks the beginning of the journey of faith, symbolising turning towards Jesus Christ and joining the community of the church. As well as Baptisms we also offer Thanksgiving Services, where we thank God for the gift of a new child and pray for them and for their family.
If you're thinking of getting married - congratulations! We'd love to talk with you about it whether you'd like to get married in our church or another one. We don't think there's a better place! We recommend the special Church of England wedding website to help you plan your special day but, to talk to us about getting married at Holy Trinity or St Saviour's, do contact the Church Office.
When someone dies, whether expected or not, it comes as a shock. If you simply want to talk with someone, please feel you can contact us and ask to speak with someone or ask for a visit. If you are seeking a Christian funeral we are very willing to do all we can to help; you may wish to involve a Funeral Director who will approach us initially on your behalf.
