Deanery Living in Love and Faith course

Monday Evenings, 7:30-9pm, 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 November, s in November (1 ,8, 15, 22 & 29) from 7.30-9pm at St Mary of Bethany

Facilitators: Revs Gillaine Holland Holland & Sarah Tapp plus Merinda D’Aprano & Jonathan Ovens

The Living in Love and Faith course enables local churches to join in the exploration of Christian teaching and learning about identity, sexuality, relationships and marriage. Each of the 5 sessions has story films, reflection, teaching and bible study with time for discussion together. All of us are being encouraged to engage with the material, to listen carefully to one another and to feedback our learning into the national Church before General Synod takes up the discussions. Whilst many churches are hosting courses, this is an opportunity for 30 people to engage across the Deanery with Christians of different traditions. We’re very aware that every aspect of this course is challenging and has the potential for different kinds of triggering and upset. Sarah and Gillaine are therefore more than happy to have a conversation, in confidence, if you have any questions or concerns as to whether this is right for you.

Looking after one another post-pandemic at Holy Trinity & St Saviour's...

As we move onwards, we continue to review our responsibilities towards keeping one another safe as we worship, celebrate, serve, socialise and share space.

Please see Neil and the PCC's most recent communication to the Church Family here for explanation of how we're doing this.
